Our team has spent years working inside the healthcare industry. We have seen firsthand how the system works against patients: prices hidden behind layers of middlemen, quality data that's nearly impossible to find, and processes so complex that even insiders struggle to navigate.

Reynold Strossen
Founder & CEO
Reynold has worked inside many of the largest healthcare companies in the US — insurers, hospitals, and pharmaceuticals/biotech — and was a Partner at Bain & Company. He served as an advisor to the White House on the bipartisan National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform, and holds degrees from Harvard Business School and the University of Chicago.
“I decided to start Wellward after spending a year trying to be a good healthcare consumer — finding high-quality doctors and getting clear pricing, filling prescriptions at the right pharmacy as prices change, appealing care denials from my insurer. It was incredibly difficult and time-consuming, even for someone who knows the industry inside and out. I kept thinking: if it's this hard for me, what chance does everyone else have? As I built the tools and data sources to do this for myself, friends, family, and former colleagues all wanted the same thing. So I built Wellward to do it for everyone.”
